This legislation is crucial in making our county competitive with surrounding areas that are building new mixed use cities which I believe will attract new jobs away from Howard County. According to the Howard County Economic Development Authority, Council Bills 58 and 59 will bring 30,000 new jobs to Howard County, which we will need to maintain our edge into the next generation.
